Fondamentali (4): gli strumenti
Ho letto il bell’editoriale di David Kohl all’ultimo numero di The Journal of Academic Librarianship (http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.acalib.2010.05.023), una serie di riflessioni sui webcast della WebWise Conference on Libraries and Museums in the Digital World promossa dall’IMLS; oltre all’accenno al tema del linguaggio (tema a me molto caro), mi piace molto l’ultima parte, in cui evidenzia con candore il fatto che i relatori del convegno non sapevano usare powerpoint:
I cannot resist pointing out the Sancho Panza element to the generally elevated Don Quixote tone of the IMLS web presentations. As Cervantes was well aware, it is always useful to have a modicum of reality to even the most noble aspirations. I am referring to the fact that as you watch the three presentations, you will notice that each of them has significant problems with the presentation technology.
